GT-CAV 300 BASED ON TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 300
The GT-CAV300 is the new light-duty all-terrain utility vehicle for Armed Forces (designed as a modernized, highly mobile, and digitalized vehicle based on the Toyota Landcruiser 300). The vehicle is designed specifically for military use with a focus on ruggedness, high payload, and integration into modern networked operations.
KEY CAPABILITIES AND FEATURES
- Performance & Mobility: The vehicle features a 3.3 Liter, V6 Twin Turbo Diesel engine (304HP/227kw@4000) or 3.5 Liter, V6 Biturbo Patrol engine (415HP/305kw@650). It is equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
- Payload & Capacity: With a gross vehicle weight of 6,1 tons, the GTA-CAV300 provides 800kg payload capacity. It is designed to carry four soldiers with full equipment.
- Digitalization: A key differentiator is the standard, factory-prepared integration of digital communication and command systems. A standard rear rack (WCK) facilitates the rapid installation of digital radio and command equipment.
- Variants: The vehicle is deployed in various configurations, such as Command Vehicle for general troop transport, liaison and reconnaissance, Electronic War Fare Vehicle (EWS) or Military Police Vehicle equipped with special signaling systems.
DESIGN AND SAFETY
PROTECTION LEVEL VR-7 or VR-9 as per BRV EDITION 3
- Ballistic protection of passenger cabin is VR-7 or VR-9 as per BRV EDITION 3, certified in Germany by the “German Beschussamt” with enhanced blast and floor protection and enhanced roof protection.
- The blast frame and cabin floor act as a blast attenuating double skin, energy absorbing mechanism and provides exceptional safety characteristics for the occupants of the vehicle.

GT-CAV 300 based on Toyota Land Cruiser 300 supports the following operational roles:
- Infantry Transport & Support: Safely moving troops and equipment across varied, often challenging, terrains while offering protection from small arms fire, explosions, and ballistic threats.
- Reconnaissance & Surveillance: Acting as scouts for mechanized units to monitor enemy locations, strength, and movements.
- Rapid Deployment & Air Transport: Designed for quick deployment by air, making them ideal for rapid reaction forces.
- Internal Security & Peacekeeping: Providing a visible, protected presence in urban or volatile environments, often used in patrol and convoy escort roles.
- Special Forces – Command & ISR – Vehicle: Designed for covered reconnaissance, leading small teams in rug terrain, drone operations and communication.
- Specialized Variants: Modifying the base platform for roles such as command and control (C2) or COMMS platforms.
