MINK Reconnaissance Vehicle (MRV)
CAPABILITY OVERVIEW
The MINK Reconaissance Vehicles (MRV) is a fast, agile, 4x4 or 6x6 armored vehicle designed for scouting, surveillance, and target acquisition. They prioritize mobility and sensor suites over heavy armor, featuring specialized reconnaissance gear (cameras, thermal imagers) and light armament for defense. It is critical to modern, high-mobility warfare, functioning as the "eyes and ears" of combined arms teams.

MISSION ROLE
a. Primary Mission Role
-
Reconnaissance & Scouting: Gathering intelligence on enemy locations, strengths, and dispositions while avoiding direct contact.
-
Security (Screening/Guarding): Operating ahead of or on the flanks of larger, slower main forces to provide early warning and protection against surprises.
-
Rapid Deployment & Mobility: Utilizing high speed and maneuverability (wheeled 4x4 or 6x6) for rapid, long-range reconnaissance missions.
-
Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR): Equipped with advanced sensors, radar, and electro-optics (e.g., thermal, night vision) to monitor enemy activity.
b. Operational and Tactical Task
-
Armed Reconnaissance: Unlike simple scout cars, combat reconnaissance vehicles are designed to fight for information, destroying light enemy screening forces to gain information.
-
Convoy Escort & Security: Protecting logistics and troop movements in hostile environments.
-
Command & Control (C2): Acting as mobile command centers with advanced, long-range communication equipment.
-
Limited Defensive/Offensive Operations: Exploiting high mobility to perform hit-and-run attacks or support the commitment of reserves.
